Position: Passenger Service Executive (PSE)

Location: Lagos

Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide travel assistance to passengers traveling through airports and other Xejet approved hubs
  • Provide travel and other related advisory information to passengers about flight times, boarding gate changes, delays, and other germane information
  • Provide a welcome service to passengers at Check in, and at other customer service touch points and to assist in smoothing the customer journey through the airport
  • Handle customer complaints, help in resolving disputes, and refer problem cases to supervisors for further attention
  • Process boarding passes, baggage recording, baggage tags, check identification documents, and direct passengers to boarding halls/gates
  • Ensure ground handling services (check-in, sales, boarding of passengers) are carried out according to established Xejet processes
  • Be active on the airport floor to assist passengers with any problems that may arise, such as directions, information for completing security processing, and urgent flight information.
  • Coordinate with other ground staff to arrange special requirements / services for passengers who require assistance
  • Ensure all necessary tools/materials needed for reservation and ticketing, check-in, Boarding, are available and ready for use before commencement of duty
  • Ensure receipts, tickets, ticket jackets are available at all time if not make timely request to the supervisor
  • Assist passengers with lost and found queries, such as passports, personal items, and baggage queries
  • Act as liaison with the contact center team in delivering all elements of the Xejet travel experience
  • Exhibit competent company and product knowledge
  • Handle sales, ticketing and reservation and diverse forms of ticket modifications, and document them according to Xejet operating procedures
  • Listen to passenger feedback and ensure that feedback is noted and taken on board
  • Multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Other duties as assigned such as turnaround coordination, etc.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree honors’ or HND in any field
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in airline passenger service
