Position: Customer Service Executive (CSE)

Location: Lagos

Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer

Job Responsibilities:

The PSE is assigned the responsibility of providing all necessary help and support to passengers as required by the airline which may include check in, baggage processing, reservations and ticketing, boarding of flights, greeting arriving passengers, handling of VIPs, providing special passenger assistance, and handling customer complaints.

  • Manage and attend to inbound multimedia enquiries (calls, emails, etc.) in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify customers’ enquiries, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Responsible for outbound multimedia communication (calls, emails, etc.) in an organized manner when and where necessary
  • Follow Xejet communication “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Maximize revenue by identifying customer travel needs (reservations, rescheduling, etc.) and offering purchasing options when applicable during the call or interactions
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service
  • Strive to meet personal/team/department key performance targets
  • Send disruption notices to customers in a timely manner to minimize risks to the airline
  • Seize opportunities to sell or advertise products to customers and also upsell products when they arise
  • Build long-lasting relationships with customers
  • Keep a comprehensive record of all calls and/or conversations for quality assurance purposes
  • Make use of available opportunity to sell or advertise products to customers
  • Follow up customer and client enquiries where necessary
  • Provide customers with needed information and support
  • Route calls to the appropriate channel(s)
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Exhibit competent company and product knowledge
  • Listen to passenger feedback and ensure that feedback is noted and taken on board.
  • Other duties as assigned such as ticket sales, etc.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree honors’ or HND in any field
  • Experience in Customer Service Operations is an added advantage
