Job Summary:

The PSE is assigned the responsibility of maintaining security standards for effective protection of passengers, properties and to an extent, the aircraft.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Pricing and Pricing Analysis
  • Monitor the movement of passengers and employees to the aircraft
  • Ensure safety of the check-in environment
  • Ensure Boarding Passes match the Identification document provided by the passenger
  • Attend to any incidents that come to the attention of the officer
  • Screen and Search passengers, baggage, crew and airport workers before accessing the company aircraft
  • Collaborate with other security agencies
  • Maintain optimal traffic flow to the aircraft
  • Follow protocols to protect passengers from security risks
  • Give reports on unruly passenger behaviour which may pose any risk
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND or HND in any field
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience is required
  • Certification in Aviation Security is a STRONG advantage
